Restaurant Manager Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee all aspects of our restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will deliver a high-quality menu, motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service, and ensure our restaurant runs smoothly. Your goal will be to enhance customer satisfaction and maintain a profitable and efficient restaurant.

Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Operations: Coordinate daily Front of the House (FOH) and Back of the House (BOH) operations to ensure smooth service.
- Customer Satisfaction: Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction. Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
- Quality Control: Regularly review product quality and research new vendors to ensure the best offerings for our customers.
- Staff Supervision: Organize and supervise shifts, appraise staff performance, and provide feedback to improve productivity.
- Inventory Management: Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products. Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
- Financial Management: Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste. Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
- Brand Promotion: Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events. Recommend ways to reach a broader audience, such as discounts and social media ads.
- Training and Development: Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices. Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
Requirements And Skills
- Experience: Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role.
- Customer Service: Proven customer service experience as a manager.
- F&B Knowledge: Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with restaurant management software, such as OpenTable and Peach Works.
- Leadership: Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills. Ability to lead by example and uplift staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment.
- Financial Acumen: Acute financial management skills.
- Education: BSc degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus.
