RESTAURANT MANAGER (upscale restaurant)
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of their restaurant's daily operations. They ensure that everything
runs smoothly and efficiently, from the front-of-house service to the back-of-house cooking.
Professional Experience:
Must have atleast 5-7 years experience in the field
Key Requirements:
GENERAL STORE OPERATIONS
Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
Manage restaurant's good image and suggest ways to improve it
Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
Establishing long-term business goals and objectives to improve the overall performance of the
restaurant
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE MANAGEMENT
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
SALES, PROFIT AND COST MANAGEMENT
Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
Reviewing financial reports to identify ways to improve profitability
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
Organize and supervise shifts
Managing the scheduling of employees to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours without
overstaffing during slow times
Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
QUALITY ASSURANCE
Ensure safe and proper food handling practices are observed
Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
Reviewing menus with chefs to ensure food quality standards are being met
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
Continuously review and enhance restaurant operation processes to increase efficiency, accuracy
and effectiveness. Identify automation opportunities, implement best practices and suggest system
enhancements to streamline workflows.
Process, support technology and optimize resource allocation in measuring the efficiency of
restaurant operation process by tracking the time taken to complete critical tasks.
TEAM COLLABORATION
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure smooth coordination and alignment in the
restaurant operation process. Act as a resource for colleagues, providing guidance on production
policies and procedures.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in restaurant operation process. Attend
relevant training programs or seminars to enhance knowledge and skills in the field.
