The Research Officer will provide research support to the LisQuP's Project Development Team in developing and facilitating research activities on teacher upskilling by linking standards and quality practice.
Preferably graduate of Master of Arts in English/Literature or any related areas;
- At least two years of experience working in civil service and/or the public/private education sector as a junior research officer or similar position;
High fluency in oral and written English- With at least eight (8) hours of relevant training
Experience (whether formal or informal) in developing tools in Google Sheets (e.g., trackers, automated forms, etc.) (All documents without the PNU QM Stamp or Control Identifier are uncontrolled)
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word/Google Docs and Microsoft PowerPoint/Google Slides
Basic proficiency in database creation and management- Basic to intermediate proficiency in managing projects and processes (particularly, those that relate to research)
Must be able to self-manage
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Project Director and/or Lead in establishing routine program processes aligned to the university's standard procedures to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the program implementation;
- Assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of research activities, meetings, and events;
Prepare reports, presentations, and research to present and liaise program details, updates, outcomes, and other necessary data to internal and external stakeholders;- Write and proofread communications and other reports to ensure correctness of documents used for reporting to internal and external stakeholders;
Assist in facilitating processes and procedures between and among PNU-based and DepEd-based teams to ensure high levels of professional standards and functioning at all times;
- Manage the preparations for internal and external events;
Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of the project's activities and outputs to ensure timeliness of delivery and quality; and- Perform other relevant tasks that may be required by the Project Development Team Lead, or other senior personnel.
