Your Role:
As a Research Assistant, you will:
- Develop and maintain the CID relationships database and update data contacts, including data tracking and reporting.
- Gain an understanding of the department and industry necessary to establish personal priorities and timelines to meet deadlines.
- Review and analyze source documents from all manufacturers, comparing them to previous versions to identify changes (P2P).
- Acquire a basic understanding of the Data Analyst role to process certain core data updates.
- Process specialized data as required, such as:
- Secondary Testing
- Workbench Testing
- Data mapping to third parties
- Incentives
- Vehicle Accessories
- Assist the team in achieving established goals while completing individual responsibilities in a timely manner.
- Work on special projects based on available resources and appropriate skill levels.
- Conduct product testing as assigned.
- Support associates and management with individual projects as assigned.
- Act as a positive team player.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
- Analytical expertise (must score 10 or better on our analytical test).
- Strong attention to detail (minimum 80% on paper-to-paper test).
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Proven history of effective work in an office environment.
- Comfortable with computers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Responsible, organized, and able to work well under pressure in a constantly changing environment.
- Strong time management skills and proven initiative.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Word
- Post-secondary education would be an asset.
Preferred skills/expertise
- College or university degree is a benefit.
- Knowledge of vehicle attributes is an asset.
