Research and Development Specialist II
The Research and Development Specialist II position provides the over-all project management for innovation projects, including product development of new concepts, innovative store processes, new functional packaging concepts and new business directions. - Conducts actual transit test/durability test prior approval/purchase of items. 2. Sourcing of new raw material, packaging material, tools and/or equipment. 3. Conducts various methods of sensory evaluation on the products. 4. Assigned in preparation of product for presentation. 5. Prepare and submits Product and/or Food Costing to Accounting. 6. Monitor's Shelf-Life Study on developmental and/or reformulated products. 7. Organization's Food Safety Officer assigned to process FDA E-portal a. Secure Micro Analysis, Nutrition Facts, Shelf-Life Testing, 3rd Party quotation requisition, result of evaluation, compliance of results based on FDA requirements. b. Review completeness of documents to be uploaded to e-portal c. Assigned in application of CPR/LTO thru FDA e-portal d. Process payments for CPR Application 8. Supervise initial production run prior product launching. 9. Leads commercialization of newly approved products. 10. Assigned to develop and draft new product label design. 11. R&D Document Controller. 12. Takes charge of the project proposals initiated by Marketing department. 13. Responds to troubleshooting of technical problems encountered on finished products. 14. Guides R&D staff on data gathering, various testing and project developments. 15. Perform other tasks that may be required by Top Management.
