The Reporting Specialist will be a data driven individual who possesses analytical skills to review data provided through both Amazon's platform and Acosta's proprietary platform, ultimately, they need to tell a story through data. They will report to the Planning and Analytics Lead and provide core support by assisting with the day-to-day deliverables, projects and coordination between different departments to support client reporting deliverables. They will have a solid understanding of Omni Channel core pillars and best practices.
The Reporting Specialist will be responsible for accurate reporting and pacing tracking across multiple platforms, data sets and categories such as CE, CPG, Fashion etc. They will assist the reporting team in gathering pertinent information and data to be used in key account meetings/presentations and identify client growth opportunities. The ability to translate numbers from raw data sets into plain English to assist in business decision making is essential.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about data, be able to draw actionable insights from raw data, able to work on multiple projects and communicate effectively with various members of the team on a daily basis. The Reporting Specialist will support all areas of the business including the advertising, marketplace, creative and leadership departments across the US and globally.
DAILY TASKS
Provide Planning & Analytics Lead with full view of client profitability
Analyse campaign metrics to assess performance drivers and identify actionable insights
Data wrangling from Amazon's various platforms to be used in ad hoc reporting, trend/opportunity analysis, new business pitches decks and business development
Provide actionable reports to be used in the creation of client presentations, proposals and ad budgets
Support in reporting for weekly client calls on campaign performance
Generate insights on various categories and audience segments from Amazon Search Terms Reports
Complete reports such as Ad Overviews, Retail Performance Reports, Category Analysis, Inventory and more
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a data analysis or reporting role, preferably within e-commerce, retail, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries.
Experience working with Amazon platforms and familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central.
Proven experience using analytics and reporting tools to generate insights and reports.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling multiple data sets and reporting for different categories.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
