Establishing contact and bringing new prospective clients to Salcedo Auctions. He/she is in charge of maintaining and building relationships with both new and existing clients, and in the case of sellers advising them over the course of the entire consignment process, and in the case of buyers guiding them through the bidding process all the way to purchase settlement and, should the need arise in both cases, coordinate with these clients for the pick-up, delivery, storage, and/or transport of consignments and/or purchases.
Client and Consignor Engagement:
Promptly respond to client inquiries via email, phone, or in-person, providing accurate and helpful information regarding consignment procedures, auction items, and sales.
Proactively reach out to potential consignors to secure valuable pieces for auction and/or private sale, and to potential buyers to bid at auction and/or purchase items for private sale, presenting auction and private sale opportunities and benefits persuasively.
Provide comprehensive support to clients throughout the consignment and sale process, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
System Management:
Regularly update internal systems with relevant client information and consignment details, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate important updates or changes with the Relationship Management and Catalogue team to maintain cohesion and efficiency.
Auction and Documentation Operations:
Manage telephone bids during auction days, facilitating smooth bidding processes and ensuring client satisfaction.
Lead ocular inspections to identify and source high-quality auction items, demonstrating expertise in assessing item value and marketability.
Prepare accurate delivery receipts for items being brought to or pulled from the office, maintaining meticulous records of consignments and transactions.
General Responsibilities:

Follow directives from the employer's representatives, whether communicated through written or verbal instructions.
Uphold and safeguard the company's interests, refraining from engaging in solicitation outside of company boundaries for personal gain at the company's expense.
Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated by management as required.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
Experience: Proven experience in client management, preferably in luxury goods or art.
Skills/ Attributes/ Responsibilities:
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Manage client relationships, addressing inquiries and providing assistance.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and outreach.
Coordinate auction logistics and assist clients throughout the process.
Monitor client satisfaction and implement retention strategies.
