The job role involves marketing and securing loans within a specified target market and following the bank's lending guidelines. Key responsibilities include:
- Prospecting potential loan clients.
Conducting preliminary evaluations of client accounts.- Validating the business and financial statements of potential borrowers.
Preparing loan recommendations based on findings.
- Presenting loan applications for approval.
Monitoring and nurturing client accounts post-loan approval.- Acting as credit officers, making informed recommendations based on thorough understanding of client financial needs.
Ensuring compliance with the bank's credit process, including gathering adequate credit information, conducting credit investigations, appraising collateral, and performing financial analysis.
- Providing full disclosure of credit information to the approval body.
Properly documenting approved accounts and managing loan disbursement.- Continuously monitoring and supervising loan accounts until full repayment.
Identifying potential problem loans early and implementing remedial solutions such as rescheduling payments or restructuring loans.
- Managing early warning signals (EWS) and initiating appropriate work-out solutions.
Coordinating with the Remedial Management Department (RMD) for problematic accounts.- Maintaining complete and updated credit folders.
Performing other duties as assigned.
