The Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring that our company's products and services meet all applicable regulatory requirements and quality standards. This role will be responsible for supporting and providing back-up in the developing, implementing, and maintaining product compliance strategies and processes, collaborating with various teams, and conducting regular assessments to ensure products are in compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stay up-to-date with local, national and international regulations and standards relevant to the company's products.
- Ensure that products meet all applicable regulatory requirements, including safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement compliance strategies to ensure the company's products meet legal and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including import team, legal departments and MY Compliance team (HQ), to align product compliance efforts with business goals.
- Develop and maintain databases accurately with up-to-date records of product compliance activities and documentation.
- Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory authorities as required.
- Manage relationships with testing laboratories, certification bodies and local authorities.
- Identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
- Assist external auditors or regulatory authorities during inspections.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At least 1-2 years of experience in regulatory affairs and product compliance.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, multitasking and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Amenable to work in Carmona, Cavite
