Develops, implements, and monitors the annual sales plan for Luzon.
Personally handles assigned key accounts and ensures that expected sales are generated to meet the sales budget for Luzon
Reactivates dormant accounts, grows existing active accounts, and develops new dealers.
Provides verified market data on Competitor prices in his Region to the Sales Admin Manager for the development of pricing strategies.
Assures achievement of his Region's sales target and takes action to correct the underperformance of his Salespeople.
Ensures that all Accounts Receivables of his Sales Group are paid on time in accordance with agreed credit terms.
Monitors market situation in his Region, including competitors activities and recommends strategies to the Sales Head to maintain market dominance.
Responsible for the hiring of competent Sales Supervisors & Sales Representatives, in coordination with Group HR.
Guides and coaches his Salespeople and looks after their training to ensure that they are properly equipped with the skills needed to competently perform their duties and responsibilities.
Ensures that his Sales people abide by Company Policies & Procedures at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant work experience in the sales of construction-related materials to hardware stores, five (5) years of which should be in a managerial position.
He must have established a good network with Dealers, Wholesalers, and Distributors within his assigned Region (Luzon).
Graduate of Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related courses from reputable universities, complemented by a well-rounded knowledge of Sales Strategies, Strategic Planning, Customer Satisfaction, Competitive Pricing, and other related Sales Activities gained from seminars and formal training courses.
Post Graduate studies in Master in Business Administration, Master in Business Management, and other related post-graduate studies would be an advantage.
Must at least be in his Early to Mid-40
Must be hands-on and meticulous with details. Strong leader, honest, has a strong work ethic, analytical, resourceful and creative, results-oriented, team builder, and a self-starter.
Other Knowledge and Skills Requirements
Preferably Chinese Speaking and/or have conversational skills of the local dialect. He must possess well-rounded managerial expertise, people skills, customer relationship-building skills, and excellent communication skills.
He must have a wide range of Sales & Marketing knowledge and must be hands-on in managing these activities.
He should be familiar with the geography of the Region assigned to him.
He must be willing to travel and have driving skills.
