What is the jobSwimming Pool & HVAC-R Technician with extensive experience in heat pump and refrigeration systems. This role prioritizes swimming pool maintenance while also addressing general maintenance needs, particularly in troubleshooting air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing issues.
Oversee daily operations of the swimming pool, ensuring optimal water quality and safety.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical dosing systems.
Monitor and adjust water chemistry to maintain proper pH, chlorine levels, and overall water balance.- Perform cleaning tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
Address and repair any issues related to pool infrastructure, such as leaks, cracks, or tile work.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair heat pump and refrigeration systems to ensure efficient operation.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC-R systems, including air conditioning units, refrigerators, and freezers.- Identify and repair issues related to refrigerant levels, compressor functionality, and electrical components.
Diagnose and fix electrical issues, including wiring, lighting, and circuit breakers.
- Handle plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and maintaining fixtures.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and inventory of tools and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry standards.
Assist in energy conservation efforts and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.- Provide technical support and training to other maintenance staff as needed.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel maintenance, with a focus on swimming pool care, HVAC-R, and general building maintenance.- Strong knowledge of swimming pool maintenance, including water chemistry, filtration systems, and safety regulations.
Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing heat pumps, refrigeration systems, air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
TESDA NC2 Certification in pool maintenance, HVAC-R, electrical, or plumbing is a plus.
