Job Description:As a Recruitment Officer, your role is to source, attract, and hire talented individuals in the maritime sector. You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring that you attract top-tier candidates who align with the company's values and objectives. This role is essential to the growth and success of the organization.
_Sourcing and Attraction: _Use various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, to attract qualified candidates for diverse roles within the maritime industry.
_Candidate Screening: _Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates qualifications and suitability for specific positions.
_Interview Coordination_: Schedule interviews with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders involved in the recruitment process.
_Interviewing: _Evaluate candidates skills, experience, and cultural fit with the organization by conducting interviews.
_Selection Process: _Gather feedback from interviewers, conduct reference checks, and collaborate with hiring managers to make informed hiring decisions.
_Offer Management:_ Extend job offers to successful candidates, negotiate terms, and ensure a smooth transition through the onboarding process.
_Candidate Experience:_ Provide timely communication and feedback to candidates at every stage to ensure a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
_Recruitment Metrics: _Track and report recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction, to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
_Compliance:_ Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the maritime industry or a related field.
Familiarity with maritime roles, qualifications, and industry-specific requirements is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other HR tools is preferred.
