Job Purpose
To ensure that our new recruits paperwork, personnel files and onboarding communications are completed to an outstanding quality in the quickest time possible, ensuring full engagement of new recruits.
The Role
- Create, manage, and refresh engaging job advertisements and actively monitor the success of these via multiple online recruitment platforms.
- Ensuring that we know the recruitment needs each week by discussing it with Scheduling.
- Complete the Smart Recruiters email process daily
- Successfully access CV search libraries to broaden the pool of candidate applications.
- Report monthly KPI's and statistics on recruitment to the recruitment lead.
- Attend any available webinars or information sessions around better recruitment practices and feedback any incremental steps of improvement that can be made to the Recruitment Lead.
- Support the screening process of new candidates and book successful applicants in for an interview with Recruitment Lead, ensuring Teams & Calendly is updated correctly.
- Ring each candidate the day before or day of the interview to confirm their attendance & that application form has been completed
- Once a successful interview has taken place then booking them in for contracting. Ensuring that prior to contracting ensuring the DBS has been paid & lodged, on People Planner, on My Learning Cloud (MLC)
- Collect 2 satisfactory professional references and 2 satisfactory personal references for each candidate and document this electronically.
- Check candidates application forms to ensure they are fully compliant and contain the right information with no gaps or mistakes.
- Notify all relevant persons of expectant attendee's to Welcome Session.
- Track and process multiple new starters from multiple training courses until their personnel files and onboarding files are complete.
- Once the DBS has been returned a DBS Certificate Record must be completed and saved into the candidates file the same working day. Any required risk assessment relating to DBS outcome to be completed and documented effectively in line with current codes of practise.
- Set each candidate up on the eLearning platform MLC so they can complete E-Learning prior to starting Day in the Life of Betty Session.
- Monitor and actively manage new candidates compliance on required eLearning prior to training.
- Finishing and handing over individuals MLC account to Training Lead upon completion of initial stages of eLearning.
- Make sure each new candidate has the correct insurance (business) before completing Day in the Life of Betty.
- Ensure Recruitment Pipeline is updated always including relevant comments and notes
- Ensure each candidate is added correctly to our HR system, Access People Planner and all relevant information has been added accurately.
- Liaise with all new candidates twice per week throughout the entire onboarding process, so they feel fully valued and engaged to join the company.
- Take full responsibility for the legal requirements around appropriate driving licences, vehicle safety (MOT) and relevant insurances and monitor this on a regular basis for any changes to legislation or policy.
- Ensure each candidate is ready to work with their file fully complete in the shortest amount of time with all aspects discussed above.
- Ensure the Recruitment Lead is given File Completion Checklist within 3 days of candidate finishing training. (The only exception being if their DBS hasn't been returned)
- Monthly monitoring on MLC
- Support new candidates with any queries they may have throughout the entire recruitment process.
- Be involved in the active management of DBS checking and overall recruitment compliance of long-standing Care Professionals.
- Type up care certificate matrix with e-learning & load into relevant erecords
- After Day in the Life, load all completed competencies to ACWDS, MLC, People Planner, Teams and Erecords
- After Field Observations upload all the competencies to ACWDS / MLC / ERecords
- Loading monthly elearning for each candidate to ACWDS and People Planner
- Updating ACWDS, People Planner and Erecords on a weekly basis with any completed spot checks and support visits
- Upload Candidates Photo into People Planner and send Photo to relevant Field Care Manager
Qualifications:
