JOB DESCRIPTION- Encode patient records and patient results in the hospital's system.
Extracting relevant information from patient records.- Receive and review patient records and supporting documentation for accuracy.
Timely coordination and communication with radiologic technologist on records / results that is insufficient or unclear.
- Ensuring documents are grammatically correct and free from typing errors.
Performing chart audits, if needed.- Release patient results according to patient's dispatch request (pick up / send to doctors / email).
Ensure patient results uploaded into the website is accurate.
- Informing Chief Radiologic Technologist of issues with equipment and computer program.
Assist in overall operational efficiency of the department.- Perform other duties and tasks that may be assigned.
Graduate of any 4-year Medical Course- Detail oriented and committed in ensuring patient's confidentiality
Excellent typing and 10-key speed and accuracy
- Preferably knowledgeable in using medical jargon and anatomy preferred
