RAC Engineer

• Megachipsem, a leading provider of complete industrial repair services since 2003, is seeking a qualified and experienced RAC Engineer to join our growing team.

• About the Role:

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients industrial facilities by providing repair and maintenance services for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning (HVAC), and related systems. You will diagnose and troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and ensure equipment functions efficiently and safely.

• Responsibilities:

Respond to customer service requests for repair and maintenance of RAC systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with refrigeration, air conditioning, and associated equipment.

Perform repairs on RAC systems, adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer recommendations.

• Conduct preventative maintenance procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and lifespan.

Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.

• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex issues.

Stay up-to-date on industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements in RAC systems.

• Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience in repairing and maintaining RAC systems in an industrial setting.

Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, and electrical principles.

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting RAC systems.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform repairs with precision.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver's license is a plus.
