Job Description:- Collaborate with architects and Engineers to prepare accurate cost estimates for the scope of the projects.
Develop detailed budget reports and forecasts for construction and renovation projects.- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine material quantities and labor costs.
Monitor project expenditures and track costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify cost variations and implement strategies to mitigate budget overruns.
Provide regular cost reports to project stakeholders and management.- Collaborate with architects and engineers to find cost-effective design alternatives without compromising project quality.
Evaluate materials and construction methods to optimize project value.
- Accurately measure and quantify architectural elements
Administer contracts and manage contractual relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.- Review payment applications, change orders, and claims.
Ensure that all contractual obligations related to cost and payment are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers. - Effectively communicate cost-related information to different stakeholders and resolve any issues that may arise.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Professional certification or membership in relevant industry organizations is often preferred.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of building codes, construction regulations, and architectural practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
