JOB DESCRIPTION- Quantity Surveyor manage the costs on a construction project. They help to ensure that the construction project is completed within its projected budget. Quantity Surveyors are also tasked to negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to reduce overall cost of a project in order to ensure the best value for money.
_RESPONSIBILITIES:
_- Create price/forecast of the cost of materials needed as well as feasibility studies;
Gather data and quantification to verify progress of accomplishments of the project;
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other relevant documents to be presented to the Site Engineers or clients;
Review architectural, structural, sanitary, electrical plans and other pertinent documents and prepare quantity needs and cost of materials;- Measure and value work done on site;
Undergo Quantity Take-off and Plan interpretation;
- Carry out monthly valuation of work in progress including forecasting of final cost;
Supplier Quotation and Evaluation;- Ensures timely delivery of the project with minimal effect on expenses; and
Perform other tasks as Directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:_
- Must Graduate Civil Engineer/Architect
With Experienced as Quantity Surveyor;- Advance Knowledge in using Microsoft Excel or other Computation Programs;
Knowledgeable in preparation of Work Breakdown Structure;
- Knowledgeable in Costing preparation, financial report analysis;
Has knowledge in using Civil Engineering Software i.e. , STAAD, Gantt Chart , Auto-CAD, BOQ and BOM- Able to work under Pressure;
Ability to work on Tight Deadlines;
- Exceptional Verbal Written and Presentation Skills with Clients; and
Ability to work Effectively both Independently and as part of a Team.
