Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

- Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This includes cost estimation, budgeting, and ensuring that the projects are completed within the stipulated budget and timeline.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs.
Monitor and manage project costs, identifying any variances and taking corrective action as necessary.- Negotiate contracts and work closely with suppliers and contractors.
Prepare and submit detailed progress reports to clients and management.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Conduct risk and value management assessments.- Assist in preparing tender documents and evaluating bids.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years experience as quantity surveyor
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, AutoCAD, etc.).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, CIQS) is a plus.
