KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Project Costing Estimates and Evaluation
Reviews and evaluates project data and documentation for accuracy and precision
Utilize AutoCAD for survey drawings and descriptions (other software packages may likewise be used, depending on needs and as approved)
Prepares & manage project schedules and provides recommendation on prioritization of projects to ensure projects are completed on schedule and on budget
Prepares project costing/ budgets based on cost estimates related to project needs or requirements
Regularly conducts surveying / checking on the various facilities, properties and building on-site for planning, monitoring and recommendation on any structural risks/ damages or repairs and maintenance works that are not being reported by internal clients but critical for the safety of the employees and customers
Inspect buildings, facilities, properties for insurance purposes and provide input or recommendations, as needed
Checks properties, building, facilities to ensure they meet building regulations, accessibility and fire and health and safety standards
Reviews building / facility reference materials and location specific regulatory compliance requirements and communicates them with other teammates and/internal clients
- Supplier & Project Contractor Sourcing, bidding and contracting
Prepares forms and communication of project requirements and expectations
Prepares bid forms
Assists in endorsing projects to contractors for bidding
Assists in organizing the project bidding process with suppliers and/or project contractors
Negotiates approved project cost with contractors in order to get best value or deals
Assists in the preparation and evaluation of bid tabulation from submitted quotations from contractors and suppliers for completeness of scope of works, costing, and other quotations
Updates construction materials market price
- Project Progress Monitoring and Reporting
Monitors and reviews progress of building and engineering projects by verifying on-site and gathering and giving reports to stakeholder on claimed accomplished work of contractors, confirming the stage of work accomplished and checking progress payments according to the accomplished work
Reports on the status of projects being monitored to the immediate head
Establish and maintain professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders
Travels from the office to various sites, when required
Coordinate with internal clients on the status of their projects
- Administrative and General management
Receives, logs and maintains files and records for all incoming and outgoing documents
Contribute in the preparation of management reports as well as management presentations, as needed
May be assigned to different work locations as needed by the business
Prepared to work irregular work hours at certain times of the year per Company needs, including holidays
Performs other tasks as may be required from time to time by the immediate head
