Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.
Qualifications
Summary: As a Quality Engineer (Tester), you will be responsible for enabling full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Your typical day will involve performing continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite, creating automation strategy, automated scripts, and supporting data and environment configuration. You will also participate in code reviews, monitor, and report defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process. Roles & Responsibilities: - Develop and execute functional test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects and issues.- Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.- Conduct continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite to ensure high-quality software delivery. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Strong experience in functional test planning and execution.- Additional Must To Have Skills: Experience in creating and maintaining automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.- Experience in Agile development methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in functional test planning.- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.- This position is based at our Cebu office.
