- Facilitates the implementation of corrective actions to address prevailing complaints, from interested parties, and ensures controls for such as in place.
- Improves Quality Systems establishes and implements Common Quality Procedures (CQP): externally with vendors; and internally between different stations along the Supply Chain; and ensures the methods of inspection comply with international/industry standards, or as required by the interested parties.
- Liaises with design and process engineers and other interfacing units to incorporate the technical specification/s set by Engineering Department to Quality Systems.
- Conducts regular production process audits, and supplier process audits and evaluation.
- Helps review and improves sampling methodologies across QA functions.
- Helps identify risks in QA procedures and how to mitigate them.
- Helps develop procedures to capture and enhance customer satisfaction (e.g. complaints, warranty claims).
- Assists in the review, audit and analysis of any quality documentations (i.e., QA/QC forms).
- Assists in designing the evidence gathering and documentation of supplier quality performance evaluation, accreditation and production approval.

- REQUIRED COMPETENCY, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTITUDE:
- Excellent in communication skills (including oral, written, report writing and presentation).
- High level in terms of problem identification and solution skills (including core, conceptual, critical, reasoning and analytical thinking).
- Keeping up-to-date with industry and regulatory changes and professional standards.
- Knowledge and skills in gauges and measuring instruments such as hardness tester, caliper, micrometer, XRF, Magnetic Particle inspection, height gauge; roughness tester, profile projector, and failure analysis.
- One or more of the following standards: U.S. MIL-STD, NATO, SAAMI, CIP, ISO 9001:2015
- One or more of the following product types: pistols, revolvers, rifles, shotguns, pneumatic or air guns, ammunitions, etc.
- Knowledge in quality methodologies: (1) Designing experiments necessary in performing root cause analysis as part of 8D, (2) Performing production risk profiling, analysis and overall quality management (i.e., Pareto Chart, Cause and Effect Diagram (Ishikawa), Flowcharts, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, Value Stream Mapping etc.)
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Education - Bachelor of Science, Mechanical/Metallurgical/Chemical Engineering preferably with PRC license.
Preferably 1 to 3 years of experience in metals industry in either manufacturing, design,
process, metrology, or quality assurance. Experience with firearms or ammunition QA is a plus
