JJ Commerce Studio is looking for a talented, goal-driven, and enthusiastic member of our growing team as a Quality Control Officer/ Product Developer. We are looking for a Quality Control Officer/ Product Developer to manage tasks such as running tests, product development, keeping a record of defects, analyzing products, and overseeing procedures.
We offer a full-time, permanent work-from-home setup. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Manila Time). All roles are open to both Philippine-based candidates and outside the country. Enjoy working from anywhere you like!
Laptop/Desktop - We discouraged the use of tablet. Windows computers are ideal.
- Headset - Any type of headset will do
Webcam - Either built-in or external is fine- Internet - a stable LAN or WIFI is required
Working Station - We require a conducive working station. As much as possible, refrain from staying in common areas such as the living room, the kitchen, the dining room, etc.
- In this role, you'll be doing the following tasks:
Responsible for the end-to-end process of creating or enhancing products encompassing design, testing, and launch phases
- Determine product specifications according to several various factors and uses
Aid in supplier selection and assist in manufacturing and design by creating prototypes for products under development- Use market research and sales data to make sure products are competitive and practical
Check the quality of incoming and outgoing materials or products, as well as the production procedures
- Provide superior with regular feedback on the status of ongoing tasks and discuss other relevant concerns
Submit proposals and designs for evaluation by the management before moving to the next stage- Ensure confidentiality of data and company information
Perform other related duties as required
- Strong candidate's experience and qualifications will include:
A strong candidate will have at least 2 years of proven experience as a Product Developer (Product Innovator) in the manufacturing industry, FMCG, or E-commerce company or in a related field.
- Graduate of BS Nutrition, Chemistry or Pharmacy or any related course
Experience in Amazon marketplace preferred - utilizing strategies for product listing optimization, monitoring product reviews, and inventory- Comprehensive understanding of regulations pertaining to dietary supplements, guidelines set by the FDA, and adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
Proven track record of successfully developing and launching products
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
