COLLEGE LEVEL OR COLLEGE GRADUATE OF ANY COURSE
- Check unfinished raw edges, broken buttons, puckers in seams, loose threads, stitches and measurements
- Records quantity and type of defects for each sewer
- Counts number of stitches per inch during sewing operation in order to detect inconsistencies in sewing machine settings
- Prepare daily roving QC reports to determine which operation has a higher rejection rate VS. acceptable quality level.
- Informs sewing supervisor of the operations that need more attention to control the rejection of the subsequent output
- Reports problems encountered to QC Head
- Compute the percentage of rejects for each sewer
- Check if attachments used by the sewers during manufacturing operations are correct and appropriate
- Check the sewing operation on initial stage and correct immediately if wrong sewing
- Performs other duties and functions which may be assigned from time to time
