Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related courses.
At least 3 years of Quality Control and Audit.
Experience transactions in quality control/checker-QA in insurance operation.Claims experience is a plus.
  • Experience in relevant Microsoft applications
Experience in project delivery
  • Experience in Jira applications
Experience in Risk Management
  • Knowledge on the following:

o 1)Business / Financial Services

o 2)Software Development

o 3)Application Lifecycle

o 4) Quality Standards

o 5) Internal Audit
  • Knowledgeable on the following:

o 1)Working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications

o 2)Working knowledge of Quality methodologies

o 3)Working knowledge of Audit

o 4)Working knowledge on Risk Management
  • JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Checker / QA Ops Transactions
Ensure accuracy of details to avoid duplicate or incorrect processing
  • Validates the correctness of the details e.g. Policy Number, Policy Owner, Beneficiaries, Amount of Payout/Withdrawal, Account Name, Account Number, Currency, and attachments before endorsement to Approver.
Edits or corrects transaction details.
  • Document errors in the error log.
Monitors returning transactions with complied requirements for recommendation
  • Monitors delay in processing of transactions.
Review transaction payment requests.
  • Endorse transactions to approver.
Refiling of returned transaction payment request.
  • Conduct QA for processed transactions.
Validate COI for requests submitted by employee family members or relatives.
  • Quality Control
Quality Control ensure that processes and transactions adhere to a predefined set of quality standards of the business.
  • Perform inspection to monitor, review, and evaluate transactions
Compile inspection results
  • Create consolidated report and analysis
Perform inspection to validate compliance to standard process and procedure guidelines
  • Business Analyst Software Development
Check that the functionality that is delivered works based on test cases
  • Find errors and test software functionality through random, unplanned, and informal testing.
Test software's reliability, scalability, performance, and usability.
  • Ability to ask strong questions to help the team see areas that may lead to problems in the user experience
Perform regression testing when there are software code changes in existing features and functionalities.
  • Ability to document requirements formally using Jira or Microsoft applications
Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • (Preferred but not required) Technical Knowledge and Tool Proficiency to understand different programming languages, databases, and operating systems.

Non-Exemption/Must Have

Bachelor's degree

At least 3 years of business analysis and software testing/quality assurance

At least 3 years in audit, or process improvements

Experience in relevant Microsoft applications

Experience in project delivery

Experience in Jira applications

Experience in Risk Management

Knowledge on the following:

  • o Business / Financial Services
  • o Software Development
  • o Application Lifecycle
  • o Quality Standards
  • o Internal Audit

Knowledgeable on the following:

  • o Working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications
  • o Working knowledge of Quality methodologies
  • o Working knowledge of Audit
  • o Working knowledge on Risk Management
  • - Salary is strictly 35k.
