Job Description- Samples, inspect and performs physical and chemical analysis of a raw materials (newly delivered and on-stock), in process product samples, packaging materials and finished goods using current pharmacopeias, established material specification, any associated wet chemistry and instrumental techniques , as appropriate. Ensure all analysis is completed, reviewed and approve within agreed turnaround times.
- Handles stability studies, ensure testing are performed on the stability samples as scheduled. Prepare reports and creates corresponding protocols.
- Performs chemical testing of various water sample from water purification system in line with company and regulatory specifications to evaluates and ensure compliance of water system to requirements.
- Executes analytical method validation test protocols.
- Maintains updates test procedure, raw material specifications, packaging specifications, in-process product specification, finished product specifications, microbial specifications, material listing and manufacturing batch record in an organized manner for easy retrieval.
- Ensures that procedures are carried out carefully, accurately and complying with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Prepares Standardizes and maintain records of Volumetric Solutions, Test Solutions, Buffer Solutions, Indicators and Mobile phases according to current procedures.
- Maintains and coordinates calibration and/or performs standardization of analytic equipment, as and when required.
- Maintain inventory of reagents. Ensure laboratory supplied with consumables. Prepares request for purchase.
- Performs other duties which may be assigned by QCA Manager, for which training and/ or an explanation has been provided and understood.
- Requirements:
With Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific Discipline (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineer, Cosmetic Science, etc.)
With Quality Control, Assurance experience in a cosmetic, pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
Have an understanding of techniques used in analytical testing.
Has knowledge in Good Laboratory Practice and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Strong computer skills.
Good in oral and written communications.
Have initiative, high attention to details, and the ability to multi task.
