- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIIES:
- Inspect tiles and related products at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Check for defects, imperfections, color variations, and other quality-related issues.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to address quality-related concerns and implement corrective actions.
Verify that tiles adhere to design, size, shape, and finishing specifications as outlined by the company.- Compare products against established industry standards and guidelines.
Conduct performance tests on tiles, such as hardness, water absorption, durability, and other relevant attributes.
- Use specialized testing equipment to measure and evaluate tile characteristics.
Examine tiles for visual defects, including cracks, chips, uneven surfaces, glaze irregularities, and other aesthetic flaws.- Ensure that tiles meet the desired appearance and finish.
Record inspection results, including defects found, quantities inspected, and any corrective actions taken.
- Generate quality reports and maintain accurate records of inspected batches.
Identify trends in defects or quality issues and recommend process improvements to prevent recurrence.- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality.
Stay informed about industry regulations and quality standards related to tiles and construction materials.
- Provide training or guidance to production staff on quality-related matters.
Determine if products meet the required quality standards for release to customers.- Make recommendations on whether products should be accepted, rejected, or subject to further testing or rework.
Previous experience in quality control or inspection within the tiles, ceramics, or construction materials industry is advantageous.- Strong understanding of tile production processes, quality standards, and testing methodologies.
Attention to detail and strong visual acumen to identify defects.
- Familiarity with testing equipment and quality assurance tools.
Analytical skills to evaluate data and identify trends.- Effective communication skills to interact with production teams and report findings.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations.
Dedication to maintaining high standards of product quality- Willing to be assigned in Makati City.
