QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry and related fields
At least two (2) years experience as Supervisor of Quality Assurance / Quality Department, preferably in food manufacturing- Excellent and competent supervisory and team leadership skills
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Highly knowledgeable in quality management and food safety systems implementation such as GMP, GHP, HACCP including statutory and food regulatory requirements and standards
Computer literate, proficient in word excel and power point
TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES:- Responsible for the general supervision of the quality assurance system of the organization
Ensures that the quality, food safety, hygiene and sanitation programs meet regulatory requirements and standards
- Coordinates all activities involved in quality assurance and quality control
Ensures quality control and food safety of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products- Evaluates laboratory tests and analysis
Monitors food product processing and food packaging for conformance to specifications
- Responsible for the efficient documentation of the quality assurance / quality control system
Monitors and evaluates performance of quality analysts and quality control inspectors
