Job Description

Primary Function:

This role will be responsible for ensuring quality is met, but are not limited to, the ff areas: products manufactured in commissary, raw materials and packaging received, monitoring maintenance of equipments/storage/machineries, production SOP is being followed, production forms and documents are properly completed, conducting in-house employee training for production staff. These requirements are to ensure that the standards of quality and reliability set by the Company are being met. Assist the Operations Manager / General Manager with other QA duties required by the Company.
  • Responsibilities:
Inspect and record all raw materials, other food products & ingredients, packaging, delivered to commissary by suppliers to ensure quality and integrity of items being delivered and received.
  • To ensure all production forms and documents are completely and correctly filled out during each production run and submitted on a timely manner to the Operations Manager / General Manager for review.
To ensure standard quality of finished products produced in commissary are being met prior to packaging and storing of goods. To indicate all rejected items and reason(s) for rejection.
  • To ensure products are packaged correctly, properly sealed, properly tagged with batch number and expiration date prior to placing in storage.
To ensure that products are stored within the acceptable time period into the freezers. To implement FIFO rule.
  • To check and audit all cooking and cooling processes that the correct temperatures are being met and followed by the production staff.
To check and audit production staff uniforms (t-shirt, black pants, non-slip shoes, apron, hair net) and hygiene requirements (nails, hair, health) prior to commencing work for the day.
  • To assist the Operations Manager / General Manager in conducting Food Safety training for all production staff.
To assist the Operations Manager / General Manager in creating and implementing Company QA Forms/Documents/Logs.
  • To assist the Operations Manager / General Manager in handling customer complaints and product recall.
To ensure calibration of weighing scales and freezers/chillers used in production.
  • To monitor freezers and chillers temperature using the Temperature Monitoring Form. To immediately inform Operations Manager of any problems.
To inspect cleaning and sanitation process before/after each production run; that the Company standards are being met.
  • To ensure all QA forms and documents are properly filed and organized for ease of use and retrieval.
To ensure SOP during production are being followed such as: proper placement of raw and cooked meats to be used during production, properly handling of food products, correct cooking time and temperature are being followed, all product specifications such as mass, size, packaging, etc. are being followed.
  • To report any food/non-food quality issues in the production area and warehouse to the Operations Manager / General Manager in a timely manner.
To schedule monthly pest control and water analysis services in a timely manner.
  • To attend to other requirements/projects that the Operations Manager / General Manger will assign to the incumbent candidate.
And any other tasks/projects/responsibilities assigned to you by the Operations Manager / General Manager as required by the Company.
  • Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of a Bachelor degree in Food Technology and/or Diploma in similar field of study.
  • Minimum of 1 year working experience.
Knowledgeable in basic Quality Assurance processes and procedures.
  • Keep attention to details.
Excellent organization skills.
  • Desire and initiative to take on challenges and deliver results.
Comfortable in leading and directing production staff.
  • Flexible, reliable, intuitive, willing to learn and follow directions.
Excellent multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to function under pressure.
A team orientated work approach with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a demanding workload.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willing to work in Mandaluyong area.
  • Willing and flexible to do shift work based on production schedule.
Strong skills in Data Entry, MS Office applications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18,
  • 00 - Php20,000.00 per month
