Job descriptionJob Responsibilities:
- Manage the execution of all food safety management systems and programs
Ensure quality control of raw materials and finished products- Assist in setting quality standards and ensure that production is maintained at such standards
Maintain the long term continuity of production and service quality
- Oversee the daily workflow and schedules of the quality department
Provides training and support to quality assurance and production teams on systems , policies, procedures and core processes- Identify and manage product and facility quality issues. Perform root cause analysis and develop robust preventive measures
Work closely with the Operations team to facilitate consistency in product quality
- Assist with pertinent tasks related to R&D and new product development
Analyze and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues- Identify opportunities to improve products and process quality , consistency and performance
Establish continuous improvement initiatives for quality department and personnel
- Ensure products consistently meets or exceeds performance criteria
Assists in the development and maintenance of timelines and resource allocations for projects assigned- Arrange , coordinate and participate in external quality audits
Job Qualifications:- B.S in Food Science , Chemistry , Biology , or related field required
Minimum of 2 years experience in Food Industry
- Experience in Bread & Pastry Production
Proficiency in MS Office applications- Demonstrate sound technical , analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proven, reliable self-starter, able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Thrive and excel in a fast paced, demanding environment
