As a Food Safety Officer, you will lead our Quality Assurance (QA) and Hygiene Department. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with food safety standards across all aspects of our operations.
Implement and enforce food safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.- Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor adherence to food safety protocols.
Develop and conduct training programs for employees on food safety practices and regulations.
- Take proactive measures to address any non-compliance issues through corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to hygiene and QA activities.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective hygiene and QA strategies.
- Qualifications and Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Microbiology, or a related field.- Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, PCQI) is preferred.
Proven experience in food safety management, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
