The Internal UAT team is tasked with defining and running end-to-end tests for specific implementations in pre-productive environments. Quality Assurance Engineers in this team focus on how a non-technical user operates our platform for specific customers. They test the main functionalities in these environments, with their unique configuration and use cases, to achieve stable productive versions. Additionally, they provide input for portal automation to the respective QA teams.
Your Challenges And Objectives
- Gain full understanding of product functionality and client use cases.
- Obtain thorough knowledge of our complex and highly configurable platform.
- Collaborate with customers, customer-facing teams, and engineering.
- Add value to the product life cycle from step one.
- Deliver a high quality product.
- Act as a promoter of QA culture.
Your Day-to-day Activities
- Perform end-to-end manual testing.
- Define test cases and design test suites.
- Do integral testing (test new implementations, perform bug fixes and refactors).
- Communicate with customer-facing teams to identify specifications and use cases.
- Promote and apply QA policies and best practices.
- Detect needs related to testing and do root-cause analysis to propose solutions for software defects.
