Reports To: VP, IT/IS
The developer analyzes, designs, develops and tests various programming systems, including coding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. Relies on knowledge and professional discretion to achieve goals. Must keep current with current technology trends and be able to adapt to changing business requirements.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and maintains custom applications using various technologies, including ASP.Net, C#, MVC, JQuery, JavaScript, SQL, Angular 8 and others.
Works on a SCRUM team creating applications or enhancing applications per requirements iterated by business development team.
Participates in daily standup, communicating what has been accomplished, what they are working on and any roadblocks.
Resolves challenges through research or working with other team members.
Creates applications per business requirements, does not deviate from user stories and functionality outlines by business development team.
Works locally and coordinates with other team members to merge code into projects.
Keeps current with programming languages, technologies, database models.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum college degree or commensurate 6 years experience in programming.
Advanced research, analysis and technical skills.
Excellent organizational skills; able to work on multiple projects and work in a fast paced environment.
High standard of ethics and teamwork with management, peers and agents.
