Main Purpose of the Job
The factory Quality Analyst role supports the implementation of Unilever specifications, standards and Quality Management System (QMS) for quality assurance and controls in alignment with applicable regulatory requirements. This key Quality role ensures that systems are in place to comply with local regulatory requirements and drives site Quality improvement activities to ensure product, consumer safety & overall quality and addresses consumer / customer issues.
Main Accountabilities
Quality Management system coordination of HACCP program in line with requirements of HPC420
Communicates matters related to food safety, such as but not limited to regulatory requirements, preventive actions and non-conformances to immediate superior
Cascades existing and revised work instructions, support documents and forms related to Quality Assurance
Verifies incoming materials and finished products and ensures compliance with approved specifications, issues reports to QA Supervisor, provides recommendations as necessary
Checks and reviews the availability of process control system for traceability from material preparation to work in process to finished goods
Monitors production performance, issues statistical reports, investigates deviations and reports to Immediate Superior, submits recommendations if necessary
Verifies material, product and process compliance to approved specifications and documented SOPs.
Conducts physico-chemical, sensory and microbiological evaluation based on specified test methods and SOPs.
Coordination and implementation of Category GMP requirements in factory, verification of compliance of site operations to HPC420 and QV through a program of internal quality audits
Coordination, implementation and documentation of quality system in line with HPC420 and Global QMS guidelines
Supports efforts to complete and maintain external audits and certifications
Participates in Quality Pillar activities for WCM, Supports data collection, analysis and assignment to standard Quality loss trees in support of operational KPIs reporting
Supports efforts to verify and document the traceability of materials, packaging and products, Incidents Coordination of global incident management (product recall procedure)
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduates of the following Bachelor's degree programs: Microbiology, Food Tech, Biotech, Chemistry Graduate, Chem Eng, BS Bio, BS BioChem
with at least 2 years of experience in QA role within Food and Beverage Manufacturing
Above-average communication, technical writing, and presentation skills
Above-average problem solving and analytical thinking skills, proactive and self-driven, can work under pressure and a team player
Professional license (Chem Tech) is nice to have but not required
Willing to work in Manggahan, Pasig
Shifting work: Monday-Saturday (6 day work week, shifting schedule)
