Job Description
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct routine quality control testing of incoming raw materials (RM), in-process materials, and outgoing finished goods, and provide QC disposition to all concerned departments when necessary.
Conduct monthly QC testing of finished goods and report results to QC/R&D Manager.
Evaluate alternative raw material samples, submit a report, and update the RM alternatives monitoring file.
Participate in product knowledge tests and demonstrate competence in evaluating raw data from conducted tests.
Prepare and submit reports on the status of other assigned projects to the QC/R&D Manager by specified deadlines.
Prepare necessary certifications as required by clients during product delivery.
Maintain cleanliness of workstation, equipment, and laboratory.
Adhere to Sika Philippines Inc.s established Quality, Environment, and Health & Safety Management System.
Actively participate in all Sika Philippines Inc. programs and fully support and act in accordance with the company policy.
Comply with necessary ISO procedures in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.
Perform other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by his/her/their immediate superior.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of any four (4) year chemistry-related course.
Professional License: Registered Chemical Technician; Registered Chemist
Work Experience: With at least two (2) years of experience working with Admixtures/Cements.
Skills:
Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
Good analytical and interpersonal skills
Laboratory testing skills
Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment (Balances, pH meter, viscometer, moisture analyzer)
