JOB SUMMARY:- Responsible for supervising and ensuring functions within a complex distribution center environment.
- KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Staying on the job throughout the day to complete duties properly. Attends work, arrives and leaves on time.
Abide by company rules and regulations.
- Trains QC staff responsible for inspection and testing.
Participates in regular meetings to discuss quality inspection and testing concerns.- Participates in QMS internal audit concerning quality.
Reports daily attendance of QC staff and any quality concerns to the Department Manager.
- Conducts performance evaluation of QC staff.
Maintains quality records.- Supervises all associated quality activities.
Ensures that calibrated monitoring and measuring equipment are fit for use.
- Ensures that quality reports (i.e., Inspection report, testing report, non-conformity report) are with complete, correct, readable and suitable information.
Coordinates with other departments concerning quality.- Recommend corrective action(s) where required to correct the nonconformance found.
To do verifications of customer complaints and non-conformity reports.
- Ensures company products and services comply with applicable requirements.
Allocate manpower and prepare the working schedule of QC staff in line with production schedule.- Responsible for ensuring that applicable procedures and instructions have been followed by QC staff.
Logging non-conformity reports (NCR).
- Prepared monthly reports concerning quality.
Obtaining approval of documents from the Department Manager.- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
- Bachelor's degree - Preferably in an engineering related discipline. (i.e. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical)
At least 2 years of work experience as a QC Inspector/Engineer/Supervisor is advance (Open for newly graduate with no experience)- Computer Literate (Word, Excel, Google Sheet)
Leadership skill, highly organized and decision making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills; both oral and written.
Ability to problem solve with groups of people.- Have a good eye on details.
