- Perform inspections of direct materials sub-contracted parts according to the define criteria using appearance and dimensional standard.
- Experienced in a plastics injection company
- Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustment to production.
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
- Know's how to use measuring instrument
- Accurately document the results of the inspection and testing.
- Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate calibration of all test equipment & fixtures.
- Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOP's for the inspection function
- Assist in the writing and updating of inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.
- Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action.
- Maintain good condition of keep samples (Master, reference, Limit) intended for the use during Incoming inspection.
- Ensure 5's is carried out and maintained in the area from time to time.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environments by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
