ob Summary:The QAIT Hotel Room Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms meet the highest standards of quality and cleanliness in accordance with established hotel inspection guidelines. This role involves conducting thorough inspections, identifying areas for improvement, and working closely with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure compliance with brand and industry standards.
Room Inspections:- Conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms to ensure adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation standards.
Evaluate room amenities, including bedding, furniture, fixtures, and bathroom facilities, for functionality and condition.- Identify and report any deficiencies or areas needing improvement to the appropriate departments.
Quality Assurance:- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain consistency and excellence in room presentation.
Develop and update inspection checklists and standards to align with current industry best practices and brand requirements.Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports, including photographs and descriptions of any issues or discrepancies.
- Track and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution of identified problems.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address and rectify issues found during inspections.
Provide feedback and training to staff on quality standards and areas for improvement.
Monitor and ensure that rooms meet or exceed guest expectations for cleanliness and comfort.- Address and resolve any guest complaints or concerns related to room quality in a professional manner.
Compliance:- Ensure that all rooms comply with health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation practices.
Stay informed about industry trends and changes in inspection standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
