QA Test Engineer (with atleast 1 year in Automation)

• Developing test plans to support the delivery of an internally developed enterprise software platform deployed across Europe and Asia Pacific.
• Executing end-to-end tests.
• Participating as a member of a distributed team across Asia, Pacific, and Europe.
• Collaborating with Build teams to ensure the successful build and deployment of the platform.
• Creating test plans and test scripts to facilitate the delivery of the Commercial Risk Eco System within Europe and Australia.
• Conducting end-to-end tests.
• Documenting all defects and testing artifacts.
• Writing comprehensive testing reports.
• Triaging defects with a deep understanding of requirements and technical solutions, including integrations.

Required Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Software Testing, with a solid grounding in testing methodologies, terminology, scripting techniques, test reporting, and metrics.
• At least 2 years experience in Automation Testing
• Hands-on experience in API testing.
• Experience in Azure DevOps
• Experience with testing automation using Postman and Swagger.
• Proficiency in MS SQL database scripting.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of the software testing life cycle.
• Ability to see the bigger picture and understand business objectives behind technical solutions to align testing efforts accordingly.
• Proficiency in writing test cases and user stories, logging defects in Azure DevOps, and managing timelines, priorities, and risks associated with project releases.

Desirable

• Previous experience working in large enterprise teams and Agile Scrum sprints.
• Proven ability to influence across different teams and cultures.
• Prior experience in the Insurance sector is highly regarded.
