QA/QC (Urgent)

POSITION PURPOSE

• Ensures the QA/QC is implemented on site. Coordinates with site management. Consultant and Subcontractors in clarifying ambiguities. Supervises testing and Commissioning of all related equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

• Coordinates with subordinates to ensure compliance with approved materials and design.

Ensure availability of drawings and material list.

• Coordinate with other trades to detect design problems at an early stage.

Report to his management issues of Non-conformance.

• Report to his management issues of design or material requiring modification.

Verify 3rd party methods and products as per approved standards.

• Verify method of testing and instrument calibration.

Assist his management in assessing the subcontractor's quality of workmanship.

• Assist contract personnel in assessing subcontractor's work progress.

Other that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification

• Graduate of BS in Civil Engineering

Licensed Civil Engineer

Experience

• 3 years minimum of work experience in the construction field is required for this position

Required Knowledge

• MS Office Application

Skills/Abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment

• Extremely detail-oriented

Great troubleshooting skills

• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
