Job Purpose and Scope:The Project QA/QC Senior Supervisor is hired for a large project and is under the supervision of the Project QA/QC Manager. He works in a trade-specific work area.
- Job Specifications and Responsibilities:
- Supervising QC Inspectors in the implementation of QA/QC programs and policies.
- Assigning tasks in the conduct of testing and inspection.
- Reviewing Inspection and Test Plan and QC Procedures/Work Instruction applicable to the projects.
- Reviewing QC Inspection and Test Reports.
- Reviewing and ensuring completeness of Manufacturer's Data Report.
- Ensuring the schedule of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is properly planned.
- Facilitating in monitoring the calibration of measuring resources.
- Conducting orientation and training of QC Inspectors.
- May facilitate Procedure Qualification Record and preparing Welding Procedure Specification in the absence of QA Engineer.
- Reviewing the NDT test report and preparing the welder's qualification test records.
- Ensuring correct application of the Project Quality Plan in site activities.
- Supervising and coordinating the Quality Control activities among assigned QC
engineers/inspectors and QC technicians.
- Implementing the Quality Control Plans.
- Evaluating and recommending disposition of issued non-conformities.
- Reporting and updating the Project QC Manager for all the implementation of corrective actions and non-conformity close-out.
- Ensuring the actions requiring decisions from higher management/PM are notified in a timely manner.
- Performing other related tasks as assigned by the team leader.
