JOB TITLE: QA Engineer

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our phone refurbishing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of refurbished phones by conducting thorough testing and implementing quality assurance processes.
Develop and execute test plans and test cases to evaluate the functionality and performance of refurbished phones.
- Conduct visual inspections and functional tests on refurbished phones to identify defects, cosmetic flaws, and other issues.
Perform diagnostic tests to assess hardware components, including displays, cameras, batteries, and sensors.
- Test software functionality, including operating systems, applications, and features, to ensure proper functionality and performance.
Verify that refurbished phones meet quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.- Document and report defects, discrepancies, and issues identified during testing, and work closely with the refurbishing team to resolve them.
Collaborate with the production team to identify process improvements and implement quality control measures.
- Conduct root cause analysis on defects and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
Maintain accurate records of testing activities, test results, and quality metrics.- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to phone refurbishing and quality assurance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role in software development.

- Proficiency in test automation using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla).- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
