- Provides electrical design, and specifies approve power distribution required for the construction site and other required facilities. Confers with the Project Manager regarding proper electrical consumption to minimize short circuit which causes delays in project operations.
- Assembles electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Builds, calibrates, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs electrical instruments or testing equipment.
- Writes commissioning procedures for electrical installations.
- Draws or modifies diagrams and write engineering specifications to clarify design details and functional criteria of experimental electronics units.
- Reviews existing electrical engineering criteria to identify necessary revisions, deletions or amendments to outdated material.
- Conducts daily inspection of the on-going electrical works.
- Prepares inspection reports and checklists as reference for Job Orders on damages and rehabilitation of electrical lines.
- Troubleshoots faulty electrical problems encountered on daily activities
- Assists in the formulation of work programs and cost estimates of project's electrical works.
- Coordinates and informs the Project Manager/ Project Supervisor on matters that need attention.
- Coordinates with the Safety Manager/Officer on the safety of employees and the project.
- Performs other task that maybe assigned from time to time depending on training, education, qualifications or experience and necessary resources.
