DescriptionThe QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the quality management system (QMS) is fully implemented in an organized and efficient manner. The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for working closely with other engineers and related construction, fabrication, and repair departments.
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specific specifications, and QMS requirements.
Advancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
- Analyze inspection results.
Advising and supporting of colleagues, users, departments and clients within the lines of the business structure, to improve the quality of the production- and maintenance process- Implementing risk-based inspection (RBI) activities and processes, using API 580 and other similar programs to develop internal standard practices.
- Certification, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements
- Must hold a degree or diploma in the related field.
Must have minimum 3+ years of experience.- Has previous experience working with offshore pipeline projects.
Must possess good communication skills.
- Must be able to relocate.
