QA Engineer

Job Description:

• To perform daily routines in final out going checking in terms of visual inspection and random checking on physical products.

To attend to issues of product non-conformance and analyse troubleshoot and implement any manufacturing deviation by revision of procedures and processes steps.

• To participate in special projects and product transfer in ad-hoc basis.

To spear head and implement ISO 900 System in the organization.

• Maintain Quality Management System within the Organization by drafting and implementing standard operating procedures and work-instruction while adhering to ISO 9000 standard.

To be the Person in Charge and Subject Matter Expert in all quality concerns and issues that arises externally or internally. Perform the non-conformance handling on both internal and external rejects with proper root cause analysis and comprehensive action plans.

• Ensure all products conform to the standard as prescribed by the customer and end-user through final checking against the technical data available.

Train and guide all quality control operators on the standard testing procedures and customer compliance.

• Administer corrective action request and follow up to necessary departments involved in the non-conforming product.

Follow-up on the action plans by performing audits on the areas affected.

• Ensure technical data requirements of the machines and customers are being followed in the execution of each production process.

Repair, maintain, calibrate, and control production measurement devices/tools.

• Accurate record keeping of measurement devices / tool

• Education and Working Experience

Minimum 5-10 years working experience in manufacturing environment. Applicant from Precision Machining industry are encouraged to apply.

Experience working in the Process Engineering or Quality Engineering area.

Exposed to ISO9000 standard and is a certified internal auditor.

Holds a Bachelor's degree or Diploma from Engineering field.
