Job Description:As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using Python. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a
minimum of 5 years of experience with Python software development and programming.
Design, develop, and maintain applications using Python.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand and translate project requirements into technical specifications.
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.- Debug and resolve application issues and bugs.
Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement in development processes.- Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Python Developer (any framework) or in a similar role.
Experience developing REST APIs.
- Knowledge of database systems such as SQL Server or Oracle.
Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or Git.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Unit Testing.
Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React is a plus.
- Experience in visualization dashboards (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
