Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with a strong background in building API connectors and accounting APIs (e.g., Xero, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage). This role involves developing and maintaining API integrations to support our financial systems and enhance our accounting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain API connectors to various accounting software platforms including Xero, NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Sage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and ensure seamless data flow between systems
- Optimize and enhance existing API integrations for improved performance and reliability
- Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure the accuracy and stability of API connections
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API connectivity and data synchronization
- Ensure that all integrations comply with relevant standards and best practices for security and data protection
- Document technical specifications, integration processes, and user guides
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in API development and accounting software
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Python Developer with a focus on building API connectors
- Strong experience with accounting software APIs such as Xero, NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Sage
- Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with relevant frameworks and libraries
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
- Experience with database management and SQL
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
