Responsibilities:
- Set up scaffolding and ladder
- Install roof bracket for mounting system ensuring that there will be no leak on the roof during rainy days.
- Installation of rails, and splice kit, taking into account the correct alignment.
- Installation of solar modules using the proper procedure, tools, and equipment.
- Layout of PV DC cables into cable tray or cable duct neatly and properly.
- Assist co-workers on other activities which requires lifting, fixing, or handing out materials and tools.
- Terminate circuit breaker in panel board or distribution box.
- Observe safety and health procedures at all times.
- Must wear protective equipment such as hard hat, safety shoes, fall protection harness, face shield, gloves, etc.
- Follow instructions of team leader, and project manager.
- Qualifications:
- Must be at least NCI or NCII certificate holder of photovoltaic system installation or electrical installation and maintenance.
- Good physical and mental health, must be able to pass the fit to work medical check.
- Able to lift heavy objects of at least 30 kilograms.
- Preferably with 2 or more years experience in solar panel installation or similar work.
- Willing to undergo training on PV installation.
- Able to layout and terminate PV cables, and install rapid shutdown device.
- Knowledge on inverter function description and operation.
- Knows how to calculate specifications for DC protection systems such as Fuse, MCB, and surge protector.
- Good attitude toward work and colleagues.
- Preferably with Occupational Safety and Health training certificate.
