DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Monitor the Navision system and process purchase request assigned and accomplished in a given IMS standard timeline.
Source out possible local and imported suppliers, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price terms, delivery, services, and after sales support.- Coordinate closely with requestors and give timely update on the status of their requirement.
Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documents in accordance to company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with inventory team regarding delivery schedule and related concerns.
Monitor and coordinate closely with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of items and acquired services.- Facilitate alignment meeting with requestor, supplier/service provider, and other related internal section to discuss project details and concerns.
Close coordination with Finance and Accounting to ensure that purchase documents, billing, and payment with supplier's timely and accurate.
- Prepare and check supplier accreditation and conducts supplier's office and production visit for checking/rating and proposed to management if found qualified.
Evaluate supplier to monitor performance and to assess the quality of services and productivity.- Prepare periodic report and discuss during monthly/quarterly section meeting.
Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in any course.- Have working experience in purchasing, inventory, or administrative work, preferably in construction industry.
Preferably adept with MS applications, specifically Word and Excel.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong negotiation skills.
Must be willing to be assigned in Greenfield District, Mandaluyong.
