We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Staff member to join our team. The Purchasing Staff will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services, ensuring that purchases meet company standards and are delivered on time. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Procurement Management: Oversee the purchasing of materials, supplies, and services needed for the company. Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies and objectives.
- Order Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders, track order status, and handle any discrepancies or issues that arise. Ensure timely delivery of goods.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and manage reordering processes to maintain optimal stock levels. Analyze inventory usage and trends to forecast future needs.Cost Control:
Evaluate and identify cost-saving opportunities. Assist in budget planning and cost management to optimize procurement spending.Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with legal and company regulations. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and inventory.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to purchasing activities, supplier performance, and inventory levels. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, such as finance and production, to ensure procurement activities support overall business objectives.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.Experience:
Minimum of 6 months of experience in a purchasing or procurement role. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with procurement software and inventory management systems.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
