Job Description

JOB Responsibiities

  • Vendor Management:

    Identify and assess potential suppliers and vendors.

    Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts and agreements.

    Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and reliable deliveries.

    Evaluate vendor performance and take corrective actions as needed.

  • Procurement Planning:

    Develop procurement strategies and policies to support the organization's goals.

    Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements.

    Forecast demand for goods and services and plan procurement activities accordingly.

  • Cost Analysis and Budgeting:

    Analyze pricing, market trends, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.

    Create and manage budgets for procurement activities.

    Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenses.

  • Inventory Management:

    Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.

    Implement inventory management techniques, such as Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory, to minimize carrying costs while meeting demand.

    Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy.

  • Compliance and Documentation:

    Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant laws and regulations.

    Maintain accurate records and documentation related to purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.

    Conduct internal and external audits to ensure transparency and adherence to procurement standards.


  • Importation Facilitation

    Coordinating orders with foreign suppliers and facilitation of importation shipments.



  • Reporting

    Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, including cost savings, key performance indicators, and supplier performance, to senior management.



  • Job Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any technical related course.

Proven experience as a Purchasing Supervisor or in a similar role, with a minimum of [2 years] of relevant experience in industrial or technical procurement.

Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements.

Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Knowledge in importation.

Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Leadership and team management abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.

Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing procurement.

Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Demonstrated commitment to ethical and sustainable procurement practices.
